We got a brief stop at the Olympic venue. Here is Clyde viewing the "water cube' which was the scene of all the smimming and diving events. Our great guide Liu Yi (Louie) is show with Clyde in front of the "Bird's Nest" -- the stadium where the opening and closing ceremonies were held. Lui Yi was one of the best guide we have ever had. His command of English was excellent; he provided great insights into the places we visited as well as into what daily life was like for the people of Beijing -- and he kept the tour highly organized.
